Journeyman Electrician - 1 Week Assignment - Start 8-25

Job Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Journeyperson Electrician to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in electrical systems, with expertise in both commercial and industrial settings. This role requires a commitment to safety, quality workmanship, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team. As a Journeyperson Electrician, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems while ensuring compliance with all relevant codes and regulations.

Duties:

• Install, maintain, and repair electrical wiring, equipment, and fixtures in residential, commercial, and industrial settings.
• Read and interpret blueprints and technical diagrams to determine the layout of electrical systems.
• Utilize hand tools and power tools effectively to complete electrical tasks safely and efficiently.
• Conduct tests using an ohmmeter and other diagnostic tools to troubleshoot electrical issues.
• Work on low voltage systems including security alarms, data cabling, and lighting controls.
• Renovate existing electrical installations to meet updated codes or customer specifications.
• Collaborate with other tradespeople as needed to complete projects on time and within specifications.
• Adhere to all safety protocols and regulations while performing work duties.

Skills:

• Proficient in electrical installation techniques and troubleshooting methods.
• Experience with both commercial electrician duties as well as industrial electrician tasks.
• Strong understanding of blueprint reading for effective project execution.
• Familiarity with various hand tools and power tools used in the electrical trade.
• Ability to work independently or as part of a team while demonstrating excellent problem-solving skills.
• Knowledge of low voltage systems is a plus for this role.
• A maintenance person approach is beneficial for addressing various repair needs beyond standard electrical work.
