🌟 We're Hiring: Powder Coater! 🌟

We are seeking an experienced Powder Coaters for our sheet metal manufacturing plant. We operate an Automated Powder Coating System daily, as well as a batch system as needed. Experience is required applying powder coating finish in automated or batch electrostatic powder coating line.

📍 Location: Newport News, United States
⏰ Work Mode: Work From Office
💼 Role: Powder Coater

What You'll Do:

Apply powder coating finish to metal parts in an automated and/or manual electrostatic powder coating booth.
Produce the maximum number of coated parts in minimum time by working efficiently.
Use correct powder per customer specification – ability to read basic blueprint is helpful.
Monitor quality during production.
Keep production records. Daily record of parts, colors used, maintenance performed, and any problems occurring and addressed.
Maintain equipment by troubleshooting malfunctions; complete preventive maintenance requirements and schedules.
Follow company procedures and safety rules.

What We're Looking For:

To be considered, Applicants for this position must:

have a complete working knowledge of proper powder spraying techniques;
be able to communicate effectively with supervisors, coworkers, and vendors as needed;
be able to lift up to 50 lbs;
have Corrected 20/20 vision, be able to identify color and texture;
be able to stand, walk, sit, bend, twist, squat, reach and perform repetitive hand and finger movements;
be able to work in cold or hot temperatures in plant;
be able to pass general, physical, and respirator medical evaluation.
